This course is a perfect fitĀ if you already know the basics of Welsh but feel stuck at A1 level.
By joining the course, youāll get access toĀ 20+ practical video lessons and additional exercises, withĀ over 15 hours of practical contentĀ to guide you step by step towards being able to communicate more confidently in Welsh.
The course isĀ designed for English speakers, but donāt worry if English isnāt your first language. A basic understanding of English will be enough to follow the course successfully.
Since English and Welsh are very different languages,Ā I explain most of the course in English so that you can understand the main concepts easily. As you progress, I gradually introduce more and more Welsh, making the transition to using the language feel natural and manageable.

This A2 Cymraeg course will help you move beyond the basics and learn the grammar you need to build more complete sentences and take part in everyday conversations. Step by step, youāll become more confident using Welsh in real-life situations, without feeling overwhelmed.
BUILD YOURĀ GRAMMAR
Weāll cover essential grammar, including different verb tenses such as the past, present, perfect and future. Step by step, youāll learn how to talk about what youāve done, what youāre doing and what youāre planning to do, with clear explanations and plenty of examples.
DESCRIBE, COMPARE, SPECULATE
Want to express yourself more naturally? Youāll learn how to use conditionals for āwhat ifā situations, as well as comparatives and superlatives. These useful structures will help you describe things, make comparisons and add more detail to your conversations.
UNDERSTAND QUESTIONS & PREPOSITIONS
Youāll also spend time working on prepositions and questions, two important areas that can be challenging for Welsh learners. By the end of the course, youāll feel more confident asking and answering questions and using Welsh in everyday conversations.
